One-night Popup. Pableaux Johnson (writer, photographer, general ne’er-do-well) brings his Monday-night New Orleans tradition back to its Home in DC. Chef Ann Cashion will host an “end of summer” casual supper at Johnny's Half Shell .
Simple supper: Devilled eggs, red beans & rice, cornbread, the usual setup if you’ve been before. (Vegan/tarian beans gleefully provided)
Special Attractions: Guest Chef David Guas of Arlington’s Bayou Bakery will be whipping up out sweet course. Chef Ann has her eye on some amazing summertime hardshell crabs. Plus, maybe a thing or two.
Timing: Nosh at 6:30, family style sit 7ish, done when we get kicked out)
