One-night Popup. Pableaux Johnson (writer, photographer, general ne’er-do-well) brings his Monday-night New Orleans tradition in this culinary travel experiment.
IN WHICH the Louisiana contingent comes to the far reaches of Red Hook for a Tuesday Night Takeover of Fort Defiance. (Actually, a team-up is more like it, since we've been pals with publican St. John Frizell for a BUNCHA years.) Expect the right amount of New Orleans-adjacent chaos and good good drinks.
What Now? Pableaux’s home-style Louisiana gathering hits Red Hook, Brooklyn for a Tuesday night throwdown. Limited seating, ticketed event. Just a few tix left, so don't tarry, young 'uns.
Simple Supper: A nice starter, red beans & rice, cornbread, something sweet, beer/wine (Vegan/tarian beans gleefully provided).
Timing: TUESDAY, November 15. (Nosh at 6:30, family style sit 7ish, done when we get kicked out.)
Price: $50 for a home-style 3 courses. (includes wine/beer)
